Hyderabad: The newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president M Venkaiah
Naidu on July 5 said he would re-organise the party set-up in the next
fortnight.
In a brief chat with reporters on his arrival, Naidu said "ability and mobility"
would be criteria for re-building the party.
The BJP president said he was overwhelmed with the response received at Nellore,
Tirupati and Hyderabad and expressed hope that enthusiasm and support of the people
would give further impetus to the party.
Earlier, party workers gave Naidu who arrived along with Union Minister of State for
Railways Bandaru Dattatreya, a warm welcome.
The State BJP president Ramachandra Reddy, Union Ministers Vidyasagar Rao and
Krishnam Raju, N Indrasen Reddy, BJP floor leader in the State Assembly, Jitender
Reddy, MP, legislators and large number of workers were present at the
airport.
Later, Naidu was taken in a procession to state party office at the posh Banjara
hills.
