New Delhi: Human Resource Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi has been nominated for a rare Mongolian honour "Friendship Medal".

The medal was instituted in 1967 to honour foreign nationals, who have contributed greatly to the development of Mongolian society, economy, science and culture and awarded by President of Mongolia, an official release said on July 5.
