Islamabad: Pakistan on July 9 once again dismissed India's proposal for joint
patrolling of the line of control (LoC) and challenged "anyone" to prove that
infiltration of militants from its side was continuing in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan believes that India's proposal, renewed on July 8 by Defence Minister George
Fernandes in Tokyo, would be unworkable, Foreign Ministry spokesman Aziz Ahmad Khan
told reporters in Islamabad.
"Pakistan's claim that there is no infiltration is correct. We reject any such
allegation," Khan said.
"We are ready to take any challenge (on verification) from anyone", he said.
