Shillong: An earthquake of mild intensity rocked the Meghalaya capital on July 10
night, Central Seismological Observatory Centre sources said.
There was no report of any casualty or damage to property in the tremor which was
felt at around 20:02 hours (IST), the sources said.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5 on Richter Scale and the epicentre was
located at an area, 115 km away from the observatory centre, the sources said.
The tremor lasted only for a few seconds.
