Jaipur: Senior Congress leader and chief of the party's Rajasthan unit Girija Vyas on July 10 night fell ill and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital, party sources said.

Vyas suffered high blood pressure and felt giddy on July 10 evening when she was discussing at the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarter arrangements for Congress president Sonia Gandhi's visit to Rajasthan on July 12, the sources said.

She was rushed to S M S Hospital where doctors put her into the ICU.

She has been kept under observation and her general condition is all right, doctors attending on her said.
