New Delhi: Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Amarsinh Chaudhary and Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Naresh Rawal on July 13 tendered their resignations to party chief Sonia Gandhi in a move to give her a free hand in reconstituting the PCC and the CLP, highly- placed party sources said.

The resignations of the two leaders have come in the wake of reports that party leadership is planning to make changes in the state organisation ahead of the Assembly polls due early next year.
