BJP activists burn Pak flag, Musharraf's effigy
Sunday, July 14 2002 20:11 Hrs (IST)

Patna: Enraged over the fresh terrorists strike in Jammu, BJP activists on July 14 burnt the effigy of the Pakistan military ruler, Pervez Musharraf and Pakistan's flag in the state capital.

Party workers of the BJP's Patna town district unit went in a procession to the income tax round-about here from the party headquarters and set ablaze the effigy of Musharraf and Pakistan's flag.

The procession was led by the BJP Patna district youth unit president, Nityanand Singh.

Addressing a gathering, BJP's chief whip in the state Assembly, Navin Kishore Sinha, charged Pakistan with aiding and abetting terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir despite the world's stiff opposition to it.

The militants had struck at Rajiv Nagar, on the outskirts of Jammu killing 20 people and injuring scores others on July 13.
