Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh): Two days after the arrest of an National Cadet Corps
(NCC) clerk for allegedly possessing sensitive information, police and Intelligence
Bureau sleuths on July 15 nabbed four Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) agents,
including a woman, in Muzaffarnagar district.
Gayur, Shakila, Jan Mohammad and Ghaffar were arrested from Sherpur and Jat Mujhera
villages for allegedly sending sensitive military information to their masters in
Pakistan, ASP Nail Kumar Jain said.
Jain said the arrests were made on the basis of information provided by Moinuddin,
an accounts clerk, who was arrested at Mathura on July 13.
He said that the arrested agents had revealed vital information about the ISI
network in Western Uttar Pradesh and some more arrests were likely soon.
A fax machine, a diary, a fax account register and some other documents have been
recovered from their possession, Jain added.
