Bangalore: A day prior to the Presidential election, Presidential nominee A P J Abdul Kalam called on godman Sri Satya Sai Baba and sought his blessings, official sources said.

Kalam went by road to Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh, the abode of Sai Baba, on July 13 yesterday evening and met him early July 14 morning, the sources said.

Later, he came to Bangalore where he mingled with the children of a school and answered their questions in a free-wheeling interaction.
