New Delhi: Lok Sabha will take up an adjournment motion on July 16 on the Jammu and
Kashmir situation in the wake of the terrorist attack near Jammu which claimed 28
lives on July 13.

Advani will make a statement in Parliament on July 16 on the massacre.
The demand for a discussion on adjournment motion was made by Congress and Left
party members at an all-party meeting convened by Speaker Manohar Joshi on July 15,
Parliament sources said.
Apprehending disruption of the House over the issue, government immediately agreed
to take up the adjournment motion on July 16 itself.
The motion will be taken up immediately after Question Hour. An adjournment motion,
with a tinge of censure, has to be disposed of the same day.
