New Delhi: The Army on July 16 denied withdrawing three strike divisions from the international border (IB) and the Line of Control (LoC).

An Army spokesman said there was no reduction of troops from the border and the strike divisions continued to maintain their position.

He was reacting to a report put out by a transnational news agency that three strike divisions had been withdrawn from the border a week ago.
