Bangalore: The Karnataka State Hockey Association (KSHA) has granted affiliation to
Air India and BPCL, a top KSHA official said on Monday.
KSHA secretary Kannan Krishnamurthy said formal application has been sought from Air
India and BPCL, who had expressed a desire to get affiliated to KSHA.
Air India and BPCL were affiliated to Bombay Hockey Association, and now need to get
de-affiliated from it. Krishnamurthy said the KSHA has also granted affiliation to
Namadhari XI, which was till now affiliated directly to the Indian Hockey
Association (IHA).
Meanwhile, Super Division State Hockey League Championship starts on August 5.
