New Delhi: Close on the heels of the US and Britain lifting travel restrictions on
India, Japan on July 24 further revised its travel advisory dropping its earlier
recommendation to defer travel to this country.
"The government of Japan now recommends its nationals to carefully evaluate the
implications of their security and safety about travel to India and, in case of
travel, to get upto date information and take appropriate safety measures
accordingly," a Japanese Embassy release here said.
It, however, advised Japanese nationals to avoid travel to the entire Kashmir region
and Indo-Pakistan border areas.
