Hyderabad: An emergency meeting of the state Cabinet was held in the midst of Assembly session to condole the death of Vice-President K Krishan Kant, who passed away on July 27 at New Delhi.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu chaired the meeting held in the Assembly premises.

Soon after Naidu moved a condolence motion in the House, which paid rich tributes to Kant recalling his services to the state as Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
