New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on July 27 condoled the death of
Vice President Krishan Kant saying it was a loss for the country and leaves a void
difficult to fill.
"He was a patriot whose death has left a void which would be difficult to fill. He
was a person who could carry all on his shoulders," party spokesman Mukhtar Abbas
Naqvi said.
A meeting of office-bearers was held to condole Kant's death.
Party president Venkaiah Naidu, also a Rajya Sabha member, who is currently on a
tour of Southern states, has cancelled his engagements and will be in New Delhi on
July 27 night, Naqvi said.
