New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on July 27 visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here to condole the death of Vice-President Krishan Kant.

Among the first callers were Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, several Union Ministers and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Laloo Prasad Yadav.

An emergency Cabinet Meeting has been convened later in the day to condole Kant's death.
