Ranchi: Curfew would be totally lifted from Doranda and relaxed for 13 hours in the other four police station areas on July 28, official sources said.

As the situation in Doranda where curfew was clamped since July 25 morning was under control, the authorities decided to totally lift curfew from 05:00 hours on July 28.

However, in Hatia, Jagannathpur, Sukhdevnagar and Argora, the curfew would be relaxed between 05:00 hours and 06:00 hours, the sources said.

Curfew was clamped in these areas after large-scale violence, which left five persons dead during the July 24 bandh called by the pro-domicile groups.
