New Delhi: Launching a veiled attack on Pakistan for its continuous support to cross-
border terrorism, Union Minister for Communication and Parliamentary Affairs Pramod
Mahajan on August 4 said India was determined to crush the menace of terrorism with
all its might.
"This battle is not an easy one. But we will have to win this battle and we will
definitely win it with the help and full support of every Indian," Mahajan said at a
function organised by Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to felicitate the family
members of the victims of the December 13 attack on Parliament.
Appealing to people to provide full support to the government in this long-drawn
fight, he said every Indian has to be vigilant against terrorism.
Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Madan Lal Khurana asked the youth to
stand behind Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in his fight against
terrorism.
"Time has come for the youth to contribute more for the country as well as society,"
Khurana said.
Family members of nine security men, who were killed in the attack, were given Rs 1
lakh each.
Wife of ANI lensman Bikramraj Singh, who was seriously injured in the incident, was
also felicitated.
