Rio De Janeiro: A plane belonging to Brazil's Rico Linhas Aereas airlines with 28
people aboard crashed on August 30 shortly after taking off from the airport in Rio
Branco, in North Western Acre state, TV Globo reported.
At least three people survived.
The plane, an Embraer Brasilia, crashed 1.5 kilometers from the end of the airport's
runway, amid heavy rainfall, Globo said.
Local firefighters were at the scene of the crash, but the terrain made access
difficult, according to the report.
