Srinagar: The Hurriyat Conference on August 31 advanced its executive meeting to September 1 to discuss the issue of dummy candidates purportedly fielded by one of its constituents in the Assembly elections.

The meeting was earlier scheduled for September 2.

A spokesperson of the 23-party amalgam said the meeting was advanced as most of the members had a busy schedule on September 2.

The meeting would discuss the issue of dummy candidates purportedly fielded by its constituent Peoples Conference, he said.
