Kathmandu: Nepal's Maoist rebels bombed the house of the country's Assistant Minister for General Administration, local television said on August 31 night quoting the police.

"The bomb completely destroyed the house of the assistant minister in Nuwakot district," Channel Nepal said.

"The incident occurred late Friday night," it added.

However, no one was injured in the attack on Dil Bahadur Lama's home in Northern Nepal. Further details were not immediately available.
