Bangalore: An all-party meeting on September 4 evolved a consensus on Karnataka's stand following the Supreme Court directive to release 1.25 tmc ft of water to Tamil Nadu on a daily basis, Chief Minister S M Krishna said.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Krishna, however, declined to divulge details of the decision taken at the meeting, saying it would be placed before the Cabinet for its consideration.

Soon after the all-party meeting, the Chief Minister convened a Cabinet meeting.
