New Delhi: A meeting of the Cauvery River Authority (CRA) has been convened on
September 8 in the wake of failure of the monitoring authority to evolve a consensus
over distress sharing formula among the member states.
A communication conveying the convening of the meeting by Prime Minister Atal Behari
Vajpayee, chairman of the Authority, was received by the Karnataka Chief Minister S
M Krishna, who has been camping in Delhi.
Besides Krishna, the Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry are
members of the Authority.
