Russia flays cross-border terrorism in Kashmir
Sunday, September 15 2002 18:45 Hrs (IST)

New York: Russia has come out strongly against cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

Moscow's position against terrorism in general and that in Jammu and Kashmir in particular was underlined by its Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov at a meeting he had with his Indian and Chinese counterparts Yashwant Sinha and Tang Jiaxuan on September 14.

The three leaders had met informally to work on steps to defuse the Iraqi crisis sparked by US President George W Bush's threat to take action to disarm Baghdad.
