India to host International meet on climate change

Bangalore: India would host an international conference on climate change "COP-8" in New Delhi from October 23 to November 1.

This would be the eighth conference party to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Union Minister for Environment and Forests, T R Baalu, told reporters on September 16.

"We will be discussing important aspects of climate change, including vulnerability from and adaptation to climate change which is of special significance to developing countries," Baalu said.
