Jammu: A Jammu and Kashmir National Panther's Party (JKNPP) candidate was among five
people killed when the vehicle they were travelling in fell into Chenab river in
Jammu province.
Vinod Kaul, contesting from Pahalgam and also president of Kashmiri Migrant Sudhar
Committee, his personal security officer and three others were killed on-the-spot
when their driver lost control of the vehicle and it fell into the river at Bannihal
area near Panthal bridge, police said.
