Lucknow: Thirty of the 40 people on board the boat, which capsized in Tons river, in Azamgarh district on September 17, were rescued while body of one victim has been recovered, police said on September 18.

Police had on September 17 said 40 passengers, including women and children, were feared killed in the mishap near Kadam Ghat.

Body of one Phool Chand Sonekar was recovered from the river, police said adding, search was on for the remaining missing passengers.
