New Delhi: Delhi Police has arrested one more accused in connection with the murder of city Congress corporator Atma Ram Gupta.

Nirvikar alias Doctor, who along with Pushpendra had allegedly shot dead Gupta on August 24 last in Ghaziabad, was arrested in Aligarh on September 17, police sources said.

He will be produced in a court later on September 18.

Police has already arrested Delhi Congress corporator Sharda Jain, who allegedly had masterminded Gupta's killing, her brother Raj Kumar and Pushpendra.

Sharda allegedly had an affair with Gupta and had planned the murder by paying Rs 60,000 to one contract killer Roshan Singh as she was jealous of Gupta's growing closeness to another corporator Memwati Barwala.
