Bangalore: Following reports to the contrary in certain sections of the media, Infosys chairman and mentor Narayana Murthy denied that he ever made a statement that Phaneesh Murthy, former member of the board of the company would return to Infosys after the case with Reka Maximovitch comes to a conclusion, according to an official press release.

Narayana Murthy categorically denied that the firm would invite Phaneesh back, the release said.
