Kaithal (Haryana): RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) chief K Sudershan on September 23 said people in Kashmir Valley wanted to join the national mainstream and claimed that they wanted an end to the rule by the Abdullah family.

Addressing RSS workers in Kaithal, Sudershan said people in Kashmir wanted to be an "integral part of the country".

He said the RSS is playing a very positive role to strengthen the Hindu society in the country. The RSS would establish its block level units by 2006, he added.

Sudershan said the RSS has to be strengthened and volunteers should take the message (Philosophy) to all corners of the country to strengthen Hinduism. The RSS has always tried to build a strong nation by taking along all sections of society into its fold, he added.

The RSS chief said villages should be developed comprehensively to make India economically strong. For this the country will have to open agro-based industries to provide jobs, food and cloth to all human beings and water to all fields.

He said people may worship whatever religion they liked, but they should feel proud to be an Indian.
