Jammu: Security forces gunned down seven Pakistani ultras in three separate encounters in Rajouri and Poonch districts since September 23 evening, official sources said on September 24.

Four ultras were shot dead in a fierce encounter at Angan-Pathri area in border village of Mandi in Poonch early on September 24, they said, adding that the ultras had probably crossed the line of control (LoC) and were on their way to Kashmir Valley via Pir Panjal ranges.

Two more militants were shot dead in Sunderbani area of Rajouri during counter terrorism operation in the day, the sources said.

Another militant was killed by security forces in Noushera sector of Rajouri on September 23 evening.
