Chennai: Union Industries Minister Murasoli Maran, admitted to the Apollo Hospital
on September 23 night for a routine check up, was being treated for 'minor damage'
in the area where he underwent surgery last month, doctors said.
They said the doctors who performed the surgery on the minister at Indraprasta
Apollo hospital, New Delhi, last month had been asked to come and assist in the
treatment and added that there was no cause for concern.
"The Union Minister was admitted for a regular check up and the damage was found
today," doctors said.
Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M Karunanidhi called on Maran at the
hospital on September 24 morning and enquired about his health.
