Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on September 23 said her government has sought postponement of the meeting of Cauvery Monitoring Committee scheduled for September 24 in Bangalore.

Jayalalithaa told reporters that, "as the matter is sub judice, our chief secretary has requested that this meeting scheduled for the 24th September, that is tomorrow, be postponed".

"If they do decide to go ahead with the meeting, our chief secretary will not participate," she said.
