PM speaks to Advani from Male on temple attack

Male: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today spoke to Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and enquired about the terrorist attack in the Swaminarayan temple in Gandhinagar.

Vajpayee is keeping a close watch on the situation there and he is being kept posted with the developments by Advani, official sources said.

The Prime Minister also spoke to President A P J Abdul Kalam about the terrorist attack on Swaminarayan temple complex at Gandhinagar in Gujarat.

Vajpayee, who is here on a four-day visit, told Kalam that all necessary steps had been taken to deal with the situation arising out of the attack.

The Prime Minister told the President that he was keeping regular update from Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on the events.
