New Delhi: India on September 27 rejected Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's
charge that Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) could be involved in the killing of
seven Christians in Karachi recently, saying such statements were replete
with "falsehood".
"Every statement Pakistan makes is replete with falsehood," an External Affairs
Ministry spokesperson told reporters when asked about Musharraf's charge.
While denying allegations of Pakistan's involvement in Swaminarayan temple terrorist
attack, Musharraf has contended it was a fallout of the recent communal riots in
Gujarat and also hinted at India's involvement in the Karachi killings.
He also alleged Indian intelligence agency RAW could be involved in the killings of
seven Christians in an attack on an non-government organisation (NGO) in Karachi on
September 25. "There can be a possibility. But we do not act like them... unless we
have proof," he said.
