New Delhi: India on September 30 rejected as "gross interference" Pakistan President
Pervez Musharraf's comments on the Gujarat temple attack and said it was time
Pakistan ''set its own house in order''.
''We have seen gross interference in our internal affairs on the part of Pakistan,''
an External Affairs Ministry

spokesperson told reporters when asked about Musharraf's
remarks.
While dismissing charges of Pakistan's involvement in the attack on the Swaminarayan
temple in Gandhinagar, Musharraf had contended that it was a ''fallout'' of the
recent communal riots in the state.
''Everybody all over the world has condemned the act of terrorism while Pakistan
seeks to spin its own theories and offer its own explanations for what happened. It
is time that
Pakistan set its own house in order rather than seeking to pontificate on matters
that do not concern it.
''What happened in Gujarat was unadulterated act of terrorism from beginning to end.
Innocent men, women and children were victims of the attack,'' she said.
Asserting that terrorism has to be condemned, she said, ''You can't have good or bad
terrorists. You can't justify an act of terrorism.''
