Busan: India's medal hopes in squash were dashed on Wednesday with all three quarter-
finalists losing their matches.
Joshna Chinappa and Vaidehi Reddy lost their women's quarter-final matches in
straight games while Ritwik Bhattacharya stretched his Malaysian opponent to full
length in men's event before going down.
Bhattacharya lost to Mohammad Azlan Iskander 9-10, 6-9, 9-4, 9-5, 3-9 to crash out
of medal contention.
Earlier, Chinappa lost to Lin Wee Ee of Malaysia 1-9, 1-9, 6-9 while Vaidehi went
down to Lee Hai-Kyung of South Korea 6-9, 2-9, 1-9.
