Kathmandu: Protesting against the recent terrorist attack on a temple in Gujarat, a
Hindu organisation in Nepal took out a procession and burnt Pakistan President Pervez
Musharraf's effigy.
About 250 activists of Pashupati Sena Nepal (PSN) took part in the procession on
October 1 carrying placards condemning religious extremism and terrorism.
PSN activists later burnt Musharraf's effigy in front of the Pakistani embassy in
Maharajgung in Kathmandu.
Police later arrested PSN president Bishnu Kumasai and other five activists of the
organisation.
Condemning the temple attack, PSN said it is an offence against the Hindus and ISI is
behind the terrorist attack.
It also demanded immediate release of their president and other activists
immediately.
