Kolkata: Four landmines and a revolver were recovered from a private bus in Golabari area of West Bengal's Howrah district on October 5, police said.

The four landmines were seized by police personnel from a bus, bound for Nandigram in East Midnapore, at a terminus following a tip-off, superintendent of police Rajesh Kumar said.

A country-made revolver was also seized during the raid.

Explosive experts will examine the explosives kept at the Golabari police station.

Twenty three passengers of the bus were taken to the police station for interrogation.
