4 BSF jawans killed in Lolab building explosion

Srinagar: Four Border Security Force personnel (BSF) were killed in the explosion, set off by militants inside a building likely to be used as a polling station, in a village in Lolab constituency of Kupwara district on October 4, it was confirmed on October 5.

The explosion took place when a BSF party went to occupy the building. Two BSF jawans were killed on October 3 and the two succumbed to their wounds early on October 5.

Lolab constituency is going to the husting in the last phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections on October 8.
