Busan: Three-time gold medallists India kept itself on course for the title defence with a 37-14 victory against Bangladesh in the preliminary round of men's kabaddi event at the Asian Games on Saturday.

India, which got the better of Malaysia in the opening encounter on Friday, led by a comfortable 24-7 margin at the break.

It clearly dominated in the second half as well to notch up a comprehensive win.
