New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha will leave for Germany on
October 6 on a two-day official visit to carry forward the new momentum in bilateral
relations between the two countries.
The visit represents the first high level interaction between India and Germany
after the recent elections in that country.
During his visit, Sinha would meet his German counterpart Joschka Fischer and also
interact with German Parliamentarians.
The focus of the discussions would be bilateral and regional developments, official
sources said.
Sinha will join Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in Copenhagen for the third
India-EU Summit on October 10.
