Bangalore: Chief software architect of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates would visit
India from November 11 to 14.
During the four days, Gates would spend a day each in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai
and Bangalore, a Microsoft release said.
Gates' India itenary includes meetings with key government officials, academics,
leading corporate houses and industry associations, it said.
It would be his third visit to India and "it's a testimony to the growing importance
of India in Microsoft's overall game plan", the statement said.
According to Microsoft Corporation India's managing director, Rajiv Kaul, India is
a "big bet" for Microsoft.
"We are growing rapidly and we are undoubtedly one of the fastest growing
subsidiaries for Microsoft in Asia."
