Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's "Gaurav Yatra", aimed at
highlighting state's pride, on October 6 reached Banaskanta district, party sources
said.
The Yatra has passed through Patan district and reached Radhanpur and Shiureli, they
said.
Addressing an impressive public meeting at Patan, Chief Minister announced that
water supply would be regularised in the district from October 7 coinciding with the
first day of Navratri festival, sources said.
Making blistering attack on Pakistani President Gen Pervez Musharraf for continuing
his anti-India designs, the Chief Minister asserted the country had adequate
resilience to counter it.
Alluding to the threat perception to his life, Modi said, "If one Modi dies,
thousands of Modis will emerge."
