Busan: Estranged partners Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi re-united on court and
romped into the tennis men's doubles quarter-finals with a 6-0, 6-1 thrashing of
Pakistan's Rashid Malik and Ageel Khan in the Asian Games on Monday.
Paes and Bhupathi, who parted ways for the second time early this year, are top
seeded here and had a bye in the first round.
Bhupathi also tasted victory in the mixed doubles where he teamed up with Manisha
Malhotra to advance to the second round. The duo registered a 6-4, 6-2 victory
against Thailand's Attapol Rithiwatanapong and Pariyawan Ratanakrong.
