Bangalore: Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi has extended his greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Dasara festival.

In his message, he hoped that the festival which earmarks the victory of good over evil would remind all to develop "a sense of fairness and fearlessness to fight against all odds and social evils so as to strengthen our secular social fabric."

"Let us pledge to uphold the basic ethos of our culture and work for peace and harmony and common well-being of us all," he said.
