Busan: India's Bahadur Singh won the gold medal in the shotput
event on the second day of athletics competition at the 14th Asian
Games on Tuesday.
Bahadur beat his rivals with a heave of 19.03m. Qatar's S Bilalsaad
Mubarak took the silver with 18.98 metres, while India's Shakti Singh
took the bronze with an effort of 18.27 metres.
A confusion arose about winner of the bronze medal after the official
Games Website gave the third place to Kuwait's Ahmad Gholoum,
who also recorded the same distance of 18.27 metres.
