RSS-backed Ashwani Kumar wins from Bishnah

Srinagar: Ashwani Kumar, an Independent candidate won from Bishnah constituency in Jammu district. He was supported by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-backed Jammu State Morcha.

Tourism Minister and National Conference candidate Sakina Itoo lost to PDP's Abdul Aziz Zargar by a narrow magin of 100 votes in Noorabad.

Information Minister Ajat Shatru Singh (NC) lost to Jugal Kishore of BJP by just 22 votes in Nagrota constituency in Jammu.

Minister of State for Works Qamar Ali Akhoon lost to Haji Nissar Ali (Ind) by 6396 votes in Kargil constituency.

Aijaz Ahmed Khan (Ind) won Gool-Arnas in Udhampur district.

Mohammad Abass of National Conference retained Zanskar seat in Kargil district defeating Tsering Chosphail (IND) by 3187 votes.

National Conference candidate Kahil Ul Rehman retained Karnah seat in Kupwara district defeating Mohammed Sikander Khan of Congress by 1988 votes.
