Jammu: Congress claimed that six Independent MLAs have joined it on October 11 and expected 10 more by October 12 to help in government formation in Jammu and Kashmir by next week.

"Our number goes up by six today. By tomorrow add another 10 taking the strength to 36," Jammu and Kashmir Congress president and Chief Ministerial candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad told reporters.
