Kochi: Police seized about 137 kgs of ganja, worth about Rs 75 lakh, which was being transported by rail from Andhra Pradesh to Kerala on October 12 morning and arrested six persons in this connection.

The seizure was made from the Kerala Express when it reached Ernakulam South railway station, the sources said, adding the contraband was being taken to Chengannur from Warangal.

The arrested included two women. Police said two others managed to escape. All the arrested are from Andhra Pradesh.
